4. Purpose of Processing Personal Data
   Customer data is processed for marketing purposes, service development, customer surveys, communications, invoicing, debt collection, reporting, and other measures related to managing customer relationships. Purchase and transaction data, as well as location data, can also be used to create customer profiles and to target marketing actions and customer communications. Personal data may also be processed when participating in events and other marketing activities. The data in this register is used for managing customer relationships in accordance with Section 8 of the Personal Data Act. The register is also used for notifications in case Raahen Konepajatyö Oy undergoes changes that may affect customers or the work they have ordered.
5. Data Content of the Register
   The following information is stored in the register: name, company name, billing address, visiting/postal address, email address, business ID.The register contains various data necessary for its purpose. This data includes, among other things: basic information of the company or organization that is a customer of the data controller, such as name, address, email address, phone number, as well as the name and contact information of a contact person. Information related to the customer relationship between the data controller and the data subjects, such as order details, meeting notes, any direct marketing permissions or prohibitions, as well as other correspondence and service-related information. Information about the behavior of data subjects on the data controller’s website and other similar grouped data, participation in events, information entered for events, as well as contacts. For data subjects registered for an event held by the data controller, their first and last names, any contact information, and event-related details. Data subjects can themselves provide registration information, such as email address, phone number, and address.

   Information stored in the register is regularly obtained from the customers themselves for the purpose of managing the customer relationship and billing for ordered work.
7. Regular Disclosures of Data
   Information from Raahen Konepajatyö Oy’s customer register is not disclosed to external parties, unless there is a need for accounting assistance in collecting overdue receivables. In such a case, the necessary contact and billing information can be given to an accounting firm that assists in the collection of overdue receivables.

9. Principles of Register Security
   Only the data controller and specifically designated persons have access to the register data. Only these designated individuals are authorized to handle and maintain the register information. Computer equipment is stored in a locked and monitored space. The customer, sales, and marketing register is not classified as confidential material, but it can only be accessed with a password known only to representatives of the company.

    In principle, everyone has the right to inspect their own data. The inspection request must be made in writing with a personally signed letter or by visiting the data controller in person. The request should be addressed to the register administrator. The inspection request is free of charge if made at most once per year (12 months).
11. Right to Request Rectification
    Everyone has the right to demand correction of incorrect data in the register. The rectification request should be made in writing and sufficiently specified: the request must include the name and the incorrect information as well as the corrected information. The request should be addressed to the register administrator.
